On September 2, 2025, we arranged a private rental car service with driver and traveled from Banqiao District to Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen, and Shifen. Our vehicle was a comfortable and spacious Toyota Alphard, which made the entire journey even more enjoyable.
Our driver, Mr. Chen (陳司機), arrived at our hotel right on time, giving us a great first impression. From the very beginning, his driving was steady and calm. Even on winding mountain roads with steep uphill and downhill sections, we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the ride.
During the trip, we encountered severe thunderstorm weather with heavy rain and strong winds. Despite the challenging conditions, 陳司機 remained calm and demonstrated excellent driving skills, ensuring we felt safe at all times. What impressed us most was his attentiveness—whenever we were getting in or out of the car during heavy rain, he brought multiple umbrellas to shield us carefully. Not a single drop of rain touched our clothes. His thoughtfulness truly touched us.
